I don't know how this will affect the chances of Obama as being the first Afican/american President

an Hillery as his VP running mate

I don't personally like the match up I think Obama could do better in finding a suitable running mate other than Hillary..

I don't want Hillary in office and I am iffy on having Obama as president

what do all ya think

If you're fed-up with government intrusion into our private lives (alcohol, tobacco, weight or so-called obesity, etc.) especially the nonsense and destruction surrounding smoking bans, then discuss/fight smoking bans at the FORCES tavern or go directly to their FORCES homepage. A UK-based group (forcing a Judicial Review of the English smoking ban) is Freedom to Choose, with another great forum for chatting and organizing here.

For some reason, and I can't put my finger on it - I really don't think Obama is going to have Mrs. Clinton as his running mate. Obama has appointed a 3 person panel to search for the appropriate running mate - one of the members of that panel is Caroline Kennedy. I sense that there is some bad blood between the Kennedy's and the Clinton's - again, I don't know why. I think this is the situation because I thought it was odd when Teddy K, announced publicly that the Kennedy's were supporting Obama. So that being said, that's why I don't think Mrs. Clinton will be on that ticket.

Another thought of mine, perhaps the Democratic Party finally realized just how scary Hillary really is, and doesn't want to match her up with Obama and ruin his chances for the presidency - I dunno, just a thought.

Thanks!

Don't kid yourself. The Clintons could still occupy the white house again. For another....eight....LONG....years. This is the most powerful political machine since the Kennedy mafia, and the most powerful political couple since the Roosevelts. I'm going to be sweating bullets until it's finally over, and that won't be until the convention. I smell lawsuits coming, just like 2000, since it was thir flying monkeys that were responsible for that fiasco too. Remember-this is the Clinton machine, and it's their only and last chance-and they know it. As you may have guessed, I hate these bastards more than anyone in politics in my lifetime, since they, listening to the toe-sucker Dick Morris, were the ones who started the war on smokers. I also remember the innocent children burned alive at WACO.

I used to have compassion, but they legislated it and taxed it out of existence.

Thanks Dave - like I said - I'm just guessing. The reason I'm guessing is that I think it's all very strange that the powerful Kennedy camp, threw it's support to Obama very early on, even though they've always supported the "Clinton Machine". However, I think you're correct - so, maybe I should be "sweating bullets" like you.

For a thought that will really ruin your day; consider this, Obama as prez, Hillary as vp, and Pelosi(house speaker) as third in line for prez.

This would certainly keep Obama safe from attempts on his life!!
