The frightening 'reality' of Hillary that I see is with Democrats that I know who will vote for her because it will bring their beloved Bill back.

They believe it will be Bill's third term.

Arguing and fighting then ensues; it's not fun living in my little corner of Massachusetts.

Forcing me to contribute to HillaryCare for employees of the restaurant will be the final nail in the box. It will most definitely close.

Saw this on the yahoo news page (sorry I didn't put the link in, it's a bit early for me) - Don't know if any of you noticed, but it seems Mrs. Clinton, DIDN'T win the Iowa primary - might be a good sign - huh? It went to Obama.

Happy New Year to all! Thanks,

Watch the Klintons start to play REAL hardball now that they realize Obama is for real. You ain't seen nothin' yet. And I wouldn't count the guy who came in second out yet, either.

What a marvelous word!!! Smile

Anyway, here is what the Dems have done for us: Barf

http://socglory.blogspot.com/

Take the example of Social Security:

Franklin Roosevelt, a Democrat, introduced the Social Security (FICA) Program. He promised:

1.) That participation in the Program would be Completely voluntary,

2.) That the participants would only have to pay 1% of the first $1,400 of their annual incomes into the Program,

3.) That the money the participants elected to put into the Program would be deductible from their income for tax purposes each year,

4.) That the money the participants put into the independent "Trust Fund" rather than into the General Operating Fund, and therefore, would only be used to fund the Social Security Retirement Program, and no other government program, and,

5.) That the annuity payments to the retirees would never be taxed as income!

Since many of us have paid into FICA for years and are now receiving a Social Security check every month -- and then finding that we are getting taxed on 85% of the money we paid to the Federal Government to "put & salt away"

You may also be interested in the following:

Q: Which Political Party took Social Security from the independent "Trust Fund" and put it into the General Fund so that Congress could spend it?

A: It was Lyndon Johnson and the democrat Controlled House and Senate.

Q: Which Political Party eliminated the income tax deduction for Social Security (FICA) withholding?

A: The Democrat Party.

Q: Which Political Party started taxing Social Security annuities?

A: The Democrat Party, with Al Gore casting the "tie-breaking" deciding vote as President of the Senate, while he was Vice President of the U S

Q: Which Political Party decided to start giving annuity payments to immigrants?

A: MY FAVORITE: That's right! Jimmy Carter and the Democrat Party. Immigrants moved into this country, and at age 65, began to receive Social Security payments! The Democrat Party gave these payments to them, even though they never paid a dime into it!

Then, after violating the original contract (FICA), the Democrats turn around and tell you that the Republicans want to take your Social Security away! And the worst part about it is, uninformed citizens believe it! Actions speak louder than bumper stickers

I don't really follow politics, but out of curiosity, where does Obama stand with regard to smokers' rights? We know Hillary hates smokers and Big Brother Edwards wants MANDATORY doctor visits. Didn't I hear that Obama is a smoker?

Hillary just went the way of the bird flu scare. Obama and Edwards joined up to cream her in the last debate just before the NH primary.

Given they both beat her in Iowa, and she and Obama are tied [at best] in NH polls, she's a goner now. Can't wait to find out how she does (or does not) on Tuesday.

Obama is awesome -- even Rush Limbaugh praised his positive uplifting style -- couldn't stop himself (though of course he then blasted his views).

Too bad Obama is not on our side, but unfortunately he's not. He quit smoking just a few months back under political pressure to do so. He's adopted the party line on that issue.

Here's a video from FORCES with all the democrat views where you'll hear his position:

Just as I thought......After viewing the video, Democrats=Fascists. I would LOVE to see a candidate who says shs is fraudulent BS, but I suppose that wouldn't be "politically correct...." Hillary outright lied in that video about increased business in NY since bans went into effect.

Yeah I know. Did you see the debates tonight? She lost her cool. She's gone. On the other hand, maybe we all ought to start campaigning for Hillary, because if Obama wins the nomination NOONE will be able to beat him.

Most people don't know anything about "views" or what they know is all mixed up. Most people just respond to if they like somebody -- plus he'll get all kinds of people coming out to vote for him who never voted before probably too.

This man is a happening. If it weren't for his views, I'd be out there carrying a sign for him myself.

The Klintons are not gone, and I won't believe they are until I see a stake in their hearts (if they have one between them). And Obama would not be harder to beat than the Klintons, IMO. A 'Happening?" Sounds like you've bought into that (half) "black JFK" bullshit. I haven't. Not only did he quit smoking (in public and around cameras, anyway), but his wife is a nurse who claims she's nagged him for years to quit.

Not at all, Dave. I look at people as individuals. I disagree with his positions, but he is an awesomely talented orator -- with a positive and likeable demeanor. As I mentioned, even Rush Limbaugh praised this.

I have also noticed the people who support Obama are polite and likeable too.

If you're fed-up with government intrusion into our private lives (alcohol, tobacco, weight or so-called obesity, etc.) especially the nonsense and destruction surrounding smoking bans, then discuss/fight smoking bans at the FORCES tavern or go directly to their FORCES homepage. A UK-based group (forcing a Judicial Review of the English smoking ban) is Freedom to Choose, with another great forum for chatting and organizing here.
