These charts give new meaning to the terms 'Red State-Blue State'.
http://dceg.cancer.gov/cgi-bin/atlas/mapview2?direct=luncwm70 (Note: for female chart, scroll down and select female/county) Perhaps Calif and Mass and Hawaii should ban women from smoking and have 'men only bars' so that men can go out and not expose women to SHS. T'would be for their own good,of course. Obviously, women can not handle tobacco smoke. Gary K. P.S.: If you scroll down and select 'All Cancers', it shows pretty much the same thing. |

1990 Smoking Rates Mass Male=26.1% Female=21.5% Calif Male=21.2 Female=18.4% Minn Male=22.2% Female=20.7% Since the anti's are strident, adament, fanatical about smoking and SHS causing cancers and especially lung cancer, please do not show these charts to them. They would have to admit that either; smoking does not cause cancers or 'all people are not created equal'. I would hate to cause them to have fits!! Gary K. |

The map GKayser provides specifically states that it represents the lung cancer rate for white males.
I have to wonder then why it matches so well to this map. http://www.census.gov/geo/www/mapGallery/images/black.jpg Is the true culprit in this apparently correlative relationship poverty? Overzealous political correctness? ____________________________________________________ Hope. Change.... Is "American Idol" on? |

If I were to use anti-logic, I'd have to assume black people are carcinogenic.
