And they wonder why the economy is on the skids.

We have been told that personal consumption of goods and service is what drive the American economy. Smokers are also consumers.

We enjoy smoking, when it is banned, we loose all sense of pleasure with the activity. We find it harder and harder to enjoy our personal pleasure outside our homes, therefore we are no longer spending hours away from home.

If we are no longer spending time acquainting ourselves with vendor's products and services we are no longer longing to buy them. Over time we no longer strive to earn more to pay for the these products and services. We have become satisfied with what we have and are staying home where we can smoke.

What we are seeing is the effect of former group who stimulated the economy turning into a group who could care less and we are taking our families and friends with us.

Trickel up economics.

Wouldn't it be funny if we could prove that 20% of the population were 80% of economic growth?
