Anybody know what date this petition was posted, or when it will be submitted? There is a "Maria E. Cantwell" signature on this petition, as well as "John Conyers, Jr." --- democratic senators??? (Cantwell is from my state.) Well that's promising, if indeed it is not a coincidence of names, and truly the senators have signed this petition!

Maxine...I suspect that the "Maria Cantwell" signature is bogus. She would NEVER sign something like this petition. She is also someone I would NEVER vote for! And don't get me started on Patty Murray!

Smallbird-- I suppose a person could send Ms. Cantwell an e-mail and ask if that is her signature or not. (There is also a John Conyers, Jr. signing this petition --- the senator from Michigan???).

MANY times, Nazi bastards will sign names on smokers rights petitions, using names of politicians or-even lower-celebrities or well-known people who died of lung cancer. Recently, an OheilO petition was signed by someone claiming to be Suzanne Pleshette, who had a bout with lung cancer a few years ago, and is now deceased. They think that's funny.

Well, I sent Senator Cantwell an e-mail, asking if that is her signature on the petition-- will let you know if I get a reply.
