--------------------------------------------------------------------

I used to have compassion, but they legislated it and taxed it out of existence.

Please refer to the above link if you are a smoker who feels you have lost all rights to choose.

Please click this link or cut and paste it into your browser, you will see a news poll that states,” DO you agree with the smoking ban”. If you are a smoker who wants to restore some freedom of choice please select, “ no “ then submit it. You do not have to leave your name or comments.

There is a group of about 30 people who sit in front of a sponsored computer and vote every hour, they are against smoking so they vote yes, this is how the ban was put in place, by using deceptive tactics .

Since they are not playing by the rules we should respond using the same method.

You can vote as many times as possible, just once every hour, and for as many days as you want to.

Thanks for your help in restoring some form of freedom.

Also please tell as many people that smoke to vote. Thanks, a ton. Doral ultra lights, 3 packs a day.

I looked at the site, didn't see the place to vote. I do go to Fla each year on a short vacation and always drive. Pa is about right for a stopover so I plan it both ways, knowing that I have at least a 50/50% chance that I can actually get up in the morning, go to breakfast, and indulge in a few cigs.

Beyond that it is something close to awesome to be somewhere that still allows smoking so you can feel the difference in the way you are looked at by other patrons.

It has a totally different atmosphere in a place that allows smoking. This site does a similar thing for me. Being here with others that smoke or are not against it, makes me feel like part of a group.

I personally stay away from as much non-smoking businesses as I can.

I say get organized. (I do know smoking is pretty much a dead issue. Without some organization and action, they have the hole dug, and are beginning to fill it in.)

I live in Washington State. We've had a statewide smoking ban since December 2005 (thanks to feelgood liberals in Seattle). Once a week I go to a bar to meet with friends that I've known for over 20 years. I'll have about three beers ($12) in a two hour period and then leave. I used to stay a lot longer when I didn't have to go outside to smoke. All the rest of the time, I go home to smoke and drink (heck of a lot cheaper, but not as fun). We don't get much information about bar revenue here in the blue state, but I know the liquor stores sell a lot of alcohol (for all of us stay at home smokers).

And restaurants? Nope, I don't go there.
