I watched the video snowbird - CHILLING!! Certainly can give one a perspective on the Governments concern over the general health of the public!!

The shock of that day was numbing for all of us watching, but I can remember a flash thought that it looked like a controlled demolition watching the towers go streight down onto themselves.

It also demonstrates to me as an individual how easy it is for me to put my own questions aside and hang onto my grand belief that in America our rights and liberties will be protected at any cost.

Since that day there has been more and more legislation, regulation, taxation... rights, liberties, freedom are more and more government controlled without much resistance. I believe out of fear. If government can keep the fear factor raging, creat rebellion, second class citizans, strife where police action -> military action in the country along with strict adherence and patriotism... I shudder for my grandchildren!!

Our stories as senior citizians will be to tell them what it was like to live in a free America.

I don't believe anything demonstrates this more than the government imposed smoking bans!!

Except for the internet, debate is silenced, legislation is arbitrarily imposed and we are taxed without representation. Our rights our liberties our freedoms are being taken by (or should I say surrendered to) the government in the name of protecting us.

Government wants our liberty, our property, our choices as well as our complete devotion, allegience and obedience.

The ani tobacco movement is a gift to them - I don't for a moment believe that government gives a rats tail about the truth when it comes to SHS - nor do I believe that thay believe it themselves.

Loose change demonstrates some staggaring evidence that the twin towers, building 7 were taken down deliberetly and the pentagon hit raises serious questions as well as flight 93's crash in Penn.

BTW, I don't think government has changed I think the American people have! Government never did like resistance and always wanted to silence the voice of resistance.

I am old enough to remember the Vietnam days and as a young person remember vivedly the news cast reporting on the protest at Kent State and the National Guard opened fire on the students, killing and wounding peaceful protestors, college students. And the fallout of government turning their backs on our war hero vets of the Vietnam war.

America needs to wake up to save their children and their childrens children. Government wants our children healthy, mentally, psychologically, physically and ready to serve their govenment without question!

this brings to lite something that happened to my son.. you all know the military test asfab my son scored really high on it in the 90's and the recruting office was doing everything they could to get my son to join the military..well he leaves for basic trainning in jan for 9 weeks. he will be going to ft benning georgia..then to houston texas for medical school. he has choosen to be a medic/physical threperist..he will begone for a total of 52 weeks three days.then he will be stationed here in his home town. He signed up for 6 years as a reservist

As to the Loose Change video, Rebelyell's comments make me quite happy that trying to runn video overloads my dialup and thus I am unable to even attempt to view ti.

That anyone would think our government was the cause of what happened on 9/11 is repulsive to me. I put no credence in anything said by anyone who falls for that kind of bunk. They remind me of the antis that will believe and spout anything, no matter how implausible, as long as it supports their own tunnelvision beliefs.

And I would say the same thing had Al Gore been elected in 2000.

Jemeyes, I hope I didn't come across as being against our fighting men and women!! I am very proud of them all! I also wish your son Gods speed and pray for all our brave young warriors.

I was thinking about the government imposed smoking bans, food regulation in schools and the socialistic trend here in the US.

Not at all Rebelyell, the thought of the Antis thinking that a smoker could have a son that scored so high on a test, them beleiving that smoking some how makes the off spring of said smoker less intelligent is abserd.. I am proud of my son I am pleased he has chosen the medical profession. I do have my reservations about the government and that I hope my son is smart enough to stay safe if and when its his time to ship out to serve our country..
