Wanda, having trouble getting access with the registration on the new web site. It may be a problem with our sat uplink from Baghdad but I read it's ok. Please check.

I had the same problem, but after a couple of times it started working correctly.

As far as I can tell, everything's working normally. In any case, your post made it okay, so that's good.

After trying for two days I had to go back to the FORCES site and sign in that way. It wouldn't work under my favorites or bookmarks but now they do.

Gee, I don't know what the problem is. The server upgraded all sites to "Eve," and maybe that caused some glitches. If anyone else is having trouble, try Lizzie's method and see if that clears it up.

Hello everyone. I still contact the web site every day when I can. Smoking issues are not an issue here in Iraq. Everyone smokes. The recent loss of our 4 fellow contractors and 45 soldiers makes smoking ban people quite silent. They know we will not tolerate, for a minute, their BS. Besides we are all armed here, for our own protection. You want to argue with someone with a Magnum 357? You in the USA do not realize what dealing with people here is like. I do. I grew up with them. You do not trust them. They will change sides for $1.00, that is reality here. Everyone smokes here. Anyway I hope NYC Clash appeals this recent ruling although I believe, as an attorney, that the seizure of private property is the strongest suit. Constitutional issues are open to very broad interpretations. If a government unilaterally declares a private business to be a public building than should not that government pay all the rent/utilities/maintenance/union city-town-state labor cost to maintain same?? That includes all benefits.
