Vote in too:

Strange poll
Yes - 1 option
No - 2 options

Don't get me wrong, finally a poll with more options on 'our' side
Just strange...

So far about 70% say they support no bans at all -- up to the individual choice!!!!

Less than 3% say no statewide, up to local govs.

Less than 26% say support statewide ban -- we're about 3 to 1 ahead!!!!!

Poll is of no importance. The Guv of Illinois signed the "Smoke Free Illinois Act" this afternoon. As of 1/1/08, there will be no smoking in bars and restaurants in Illinois.

Under the ban, people will be allowed to smoke in their homes, cars,

you will also be allowed to smoke outdoors

WOW! Isn't that generous of the government?? Mad

--------------------------------------------------------------------

I used to have compassion, but they legislated it and taxed it out of existence.

But, all we're asking is that you not smoke on aircraft....is that too much???

We all remember that cockamamie bullshit.

Our homes are next, unless we stand up and kick ass.

Dave has been right all along. Only when we hate as much as they do, and refuse to bow to these totalitarians, can we win.

We can't play nice. Not anymore. There's a lot more at stake than just smoking bans.

BAN THE BANNERS!!!

I thought that Illinois was trying to ban smoking in cars with kids under 16, too. Did that get thown out? Nevertheless, I hope all the bars go belly-up. Illinois is where I originally came from. Fascist pricks........

Little by little the "experts" are destroying our civilization.

It has become obvious to me that as more and more people without jobs try to manufacture a career for themselves they are primarily preserving or creating their own careers that depend on the that same civilization.

They are trying to gain power, prestige, and money at our expense. Once they have made their money, gained their power, they will build themselves the serfdoms they ultimately want.

They will own the planet, we will serve the masters.

These are the people who defined productivity and ultimately lost productivity. These are the people who created second hand smoke and computer generated death certificates. These are the people creating global warming and another new concept "carbon taxes". These are the people who created restless leg syndrome.

We rely on experts at our own peril.

These people will only be satisfied when we return to the caves and dine on roots and berries.

Today everything needs higher education to buy, use, or consume. Simple bread making needs an advanced degree. How many of us actually make anything that isn't printed or viewed?

How much of what makes us feel secure is a theory or concept, rather than hearth and home, family and friends?

Have the experiences of the hurricane survivors taught us nothing?

We need to think for ourselves again.

Sent letter to Governor Blagojevich

http://centralillinoisproud.com/content/fulltext/?cid=3209

Sent to PJR .com

Dear Editor, July 25.07

Governor Blagojevich says each year in Illinois, more than 16-thousand people die from smoking related illnesses. He believes this bill will help save lives.'

The Governor gets these figures(16,000) from a 'risk' computer called SAMMEC
http://apps.nccd.cdc.gov/sammec/

Smoking laws do not "prevent" smoking related diseases.

'The governor believes lung cancer rates will drop up to 20-percent once the act takes affect.'
Lung Cancer takes decades to develop, whether it be a smoker or non-smoker.

Having said that, why would anybody in their right mind believe anything
Governor Blagojevich would say.
