I have asked NicoNazi several times to answer the following questions so perhaps a new topic is needed so that Nico does not think we forgot him and his ability to run away from questions.
I will ask NicoNazi again: 1. Does Chlorine serve a purpose in swimming pools? If so, what? 2. If a citizen of Boulder Colorado has a "right to breathe cleane air", why is he not permitted to collect injury settlement from the City of New York when he visits and New York City does not supply him with "clean air" to breath. Please amuse us with your answers. |

Why is it that Anti's fear the above posted questions so?

How many discussions have my name specified in the title?
I feel like a celebrity here! Chlorine- supposedly so your eyes hurt after you leave the pool or so you have to take a shower shortly thereafter. No idea what you are talkin' about in the second one... did I ever say I supported something like that? |

No answers, just more blabbing?
Please, you represent yourself as a well educated individual, yet you fear answering simple questions?
Did I miss something, do you not advocate the "right to breathe clean air"? It's amazing how much fear these two questions bring to anti's. |

I'm always amused by the anti mantra of wanting "clean" air and their "right" to breathe clean air. There is no such thing, of course.
When the volcano Mt. St. Helena erupted big time some 25 years ago, volcanic was carried by the prevailing winds and deposited on northern Illinois, Indiana, Ohio and beyond. It was clearly visible on cars. People breathed a LOT of it. When I was in London back in the late 1950s, I found that there were specks of black on my arms when I returned from walks. The famous London "fogs" were nothing other than thick smog. When the normally skies over southern Florida become hazy it's dust carried over from the Sahara. Homes in Chicago are routinely fitted with carbon monoxide detectors because the heating systems give off carbon monoxide. Those who live anywhere near a busy highway or street will find black deposits on their lawn furniture and glass patio table tops. Even the "pristine" air in the mountains is filled with dust, pollen, spores, mold, and other particles. In fact, we live in a chemical soup and breathe it in all our lives. Compared to all the other stuff we're breating in, especially if we live in urban areas, tobacco smoke is nothing. If the antis want "clean" air so much, they'll have to move to another planet--or a barren asteroid. |

No filter? I feel the same way about SHS, NPL! |

My thoughts exactly. One is indoors and enclosed; the other is outdoors and unenclosed. And you were right on the left field comment, I've played left field on the softball team in a pinch (shortstop, where TRUE athletes play, is my regular spot). |

I had to come out of retirement for this one: True athletes play baseball, and the position is Catcher in which they play! Try looking down a 95 mph fast ball as a 220 pounder is screaming toward you with his cleats aimed at your nuts! Ahhhh, baseball, ya gotta love it! |
