watched the morning show on TV and they had a feature on the safety of plastic containers.. any plastic bottle or container with the triangle on the bottom which contain the numbers 3,6 and 7 should not be used,, only thing I found in my kitchen cabs containing those numbers was my squeezable jelly.

one has to ask a few questions,,
is this a campaign to Ban the use of plastic containers?
is it a real health concern?
going green?
stop recyeling plastics?

Hazards of Hydration

Choose your plastic water bottles carefully

Clear, lightweight, and sturdy polycarbonate plastic bottles are standard equipment for millions of hikers and babies. (They are usually labeled #7 on the bottom; Nalgene is the best-known producer.) Since polycarbonate bottles don’t impart a taste to fluids, many users assume they are safer than bottles made out of other kinds of plastic. But now an accidental discovery has cast doubt on their safety

If you're fed-up with government intrusion into our private lives (alcohol, tobacco, weight or so-called obesity, etc.) especially the nonsense and destruction surrounding smoking bans, then discuss/fight smoking bans at the FORCES tavern or go directly to their FORCES homepage. A UK-based group (forcing a Judicial Review of the English smoking ban) is Freedom to Choose, with another great forum for chatting and organizing here.

Must have been a slow day in the newsroom. These stories are from 2003 and were put out by 'greenies' with an agenda.

There is a lot of could be,may be, in high doses to small rodents,no mention of actual dose amounts that may be harmful to human and for what, except to maybe, perhaps to embroyos.

By now,the rebuttals to this will be hard to find and they are safe in regurgitating the proofless crap.
