One final word on Prop 10 repeal effort in California--

I very much appreciated and I thank all of you from out-of-state that supported us here in California on the YES on Prop 28 campaign. You all went above and beyond the call of duty. I'm sure other Californians who still believe that smokers don't deserve to be unconstitutionally taxed to death feel the same way.

Even though California is a goner to the anti's, we know one thing is for sure; when this fertile Golden State with its cash cow bucks from the tobacco taxes dries up, the anti's will have no one to blame but themselves when they find themselves standing in nothing but cow manure instead of cash.

I'm still here and I will be more than happy to give any support I possibly can when they come for you!

Rebecca, thanks for the thoughtful post. We know that you, Marty, Spinner and the rest were fighting on behalf of all of us since Reiner plans on pushing his scheme in other states. As you say, they'll come for us, too.

Nobody could have fought harder than you all did. All you lacked was $$$$$$ to go up against Reiner's machine.

(I'm betting it's not over yet with Reiner, wait and see.)

Martha - I have to agree with you completely.
The folks in KA did yeoman's work - and deserve major appreciation from the rest of us.

I can only hope that the smokers in the others states - whether being targeted by Reiner or not, will WAKE up and start paying attention.

Rebecca - you and the others deserve the credit, it it was for the likes of you and Spinner and Marty - the rest of us outside the state would never have known wwant was going on.
