Hi!
I hope your guys don't mind a small advertisement
on your forum? Smile

I'm running a small online store and sell among other things Beedies (hand rolled cigarettes from India) as well as rolling tobacco.

My shop is located in Thailand and I do ship worldwide.

Shipping to the US typically takes 10 to 14 days.

Thanks for posting your ad. It does help to know the alternatives. However, your success at selling tobacco to US customers might be rather limited.

Personally, once the taxes got to a point where they exceeded the cost of the cigarettes themselves, I began ordering online from Seneca Nation sellers in New York state. They "promise" to keep customer info private. This is important because there's a Federal Law (the Jenkins Act) requiring retailers to "fink out" their customers to state taxing authorities. But I suspect that any online seller, even Seneca Nation sellers, are only one lawsuit away from reneging on their promise.

So, when I discovered that my state (Oregon) taxes cigarettes and chewing tobacco ... but NOT loose tobacco ... I got myself a cigarette machine and buy my tobacco in person at a local tobacco shop. Since I pay no shipping costs, the cost of making my own cigarettes is $1.00 less per carton than even the Seneca Nation sellers ... and it has the added advantage of making me a "legal" tobacco purchaser.

But, if you add in the shipping charges, it makes ordering online (especially from a foreign source) a bit too costly for those who do roll their own (or "make" their own, as I now do).

For U.S. residents, it would all depend upon whether or not their particular state taxes loose tobacco ... and by how much.

Hello HerbDunsel!

Thanks for your interesting response.
I don't have much knowledge regarding Tobacco in
the US.

Maybe you want to compare the price that I offer
against the prices at your store.

Loose Roling Tobacco:

Amount___Price____Postage___Total
50g_____2.19 $___3.73 $____5.92 $
100g_____4.38 $___4.46 $____8.84 $
150g_____6.57 $___5.19 $___11.76 $
200g_____8.76 $___7.30 $___16.06 $
250g____10.96 $___7.45 $___18.41 $
300g____13.15 $___8.91 $___22.06 $

Indian(India) Beedie Cigarettes:

1 Box containing 500 pieces = 36.67 $
(including shipping)

Price may vary a bit as they are based on the Euro.

I stuffed my own for five years but most of the bulk European and American tobacco had a lousy taste to me. I kept on stuffing because I feel the state of Kalifornia and The Feds are thieves and I didn't want them taxing me more. Now we have these damn FSC cigs that are absolutely ruining what little pleasure I still get from smoking. The taste is similar to a cig that gets wet, redried, and smoked again. I wonder how much more tar I'm inhaling due to the fact the damn things won't stay lit and I have to hit my cigarettes like I'm smoking a joint. So much for government meddling. The idiots in Sacramento here on the left coast are probably causing more health problems with these shitty papers. Once again we're screwed.
