Recently, I read that only 5% of all Internet tobacco retailers are complying with the Jenkins Act - the Federal law requiring tobacco retailers to submit identifying information on out-of-state customers to the taxing authorities in their respective states.
In any case, states make it a point to "crow" about the people they catch - the ones who end up getting big tax bills in the mail. But I've never seen a list anywhere (compiled with info from smokers who've been caught) just who these "fink" retailers are. Does such a list exist online? |

There is broken information on other boards about internet companies giving up their info, also I've heard that UPS sold out the customers too.
Check smokinglobby.com and smokersclubinternational.com [signup required] Search the 'internet cigarettes' sections on the boards. |
