I look at smoking bans differently than many people. They see smoking smoking bans as forbidding smokers from smoking. I see that too, but I also see smoking bans as telling nonsmokers they're not allowed to subject themselves to SHS.
Okay, so what does that have to do with Lance Armstrong? Well, he's decided to race bicycles again and we all know what happens when he rides bicycles: He loses a testicle to cancer. So when Armstrong pushes for smoking bans to prevent cancer in people who may want to be exposed to SHS, he really has no right to subject himself to losing his last testicle. How can he allow himself to be subjected to an increased cancer risk (bicycle seats), but others can't? Here's the answer. He's a hypocrite. |

I second that. Emphatically!
-------------------------------------------------------------------- I used to have compassion, but they legislated it and taxed it out of existence. |

George Carlin says it best!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oxXkJoSgeXo What I really hate is that A-hole Armstrong's picture is posted practically all over Boston because he ran in the last marathon.....who f'in cares! The news media was all over him...they totally ignored all the people that run for various charities. Ugh! varla_pussycat |
