Hi all...the cost per pack of cigarettes in Arizona recently went up about $.80. In order to TRY and fight this we are going to start making our own smokes. I was just wondering if anyone else rolled or packed their own and what brand of tobacco. We smoke Marlboro Lights and the occasional Parliament light...I'm looking for something similar to either of these. Thanks

Have been making my own for over a year and am quite satisfied with the company I deal with.

They sell over three dozen different tobacco types from robust Turkish to mild Virginia. They also feature menthol flavored tobacco,a couple dozen diffent tubes, and MYO/RYO machines.

Here are links to them and to a very nice MYO/RYO magazine.

I don't know if you'll be able to match the taste to the ones you smoke because the store-bought brands add different flavors to get their own unique tastes.

I know D&R sells a tobacco that's supposed to mimic the store bought kind (which one I don't know), but I thought it tasted like crap, but that's just me.

There's a website that sells sample packets. I'd suggest buying a bunch of them and seeing which one(s) you like. Personally I blend 2-3 different kinds together for my smokes.
