Smoking is not 'BAD' for you and does not 'CAUSE' 440,000 deaths per year.

Professor Alvan Feinstein, of Yale, a world authority on epidemiology (the study of the causes of disease), has said firmly that death certificates are merely "passports to burial", and for more than 50 years, every time someone has studied the causes of death listed on the death certificates, the conclusion has been that the information is 'grossly inaccurate and unreliable".



Hell, death certificates showing death from myocardial infarctions(heart attack) are right only 50% of the time.

Autopsy proved 52 myocardial infarctions causing death, while death certificates accurately reported only 27.

CONCLUSION: Major discrepancies of commission and omission occur frequently between the death certificate and autopsy.

A joint report by the Royal Colleges of Pathologists Surgeons and Physicians ("The Autopsy and Audit", 1991), says: "In autopsies (post-mortems) performed on patients thought to have died of malignant disease (cancer) there was only 75% agreement that malignancy was the cause of the death and in only 56% was the primary site identified correctly."

(So if you are told you have cancer there is a one in four chance that you haven't, and even if you have there is almost a fifty-fifty chance that you're being treated for one in the wrong place).



100 cancer deaths

25 not from cancer,leaves 75 cancer deaths, 56% of 75 is 42 correct.

Thus, 58(58%) of the cancer death certificates are not accurate.



If you,a smoker, have cancer of the big toe that spreads to your lungs the antis will claim that your lung cancer was 'CAUSED' by smoking and that smoking killed you!!



Since they can not tell with even 50% accuracy what kills people, the rest of the antis' claims are even more full of crap and smoking is not 'BAD' for you!!
