I wish to get useful feedback from teenagers.Thank you very much.

Question:
Good day to you,my name is Channelle. As you may know, smoking has become a serious health issue. There is a growing concern about the number of teenagers who start to smoke while still at school.

I'm a student from Liverpool John Moores University and wish to conduct a project with title "Cigarettes Advertising and Promotion Encourage Teenagers to Smoke".

Base on my research I found out that there have argument about tobacco advertising or promotion encourage teenagers to smoke but other scholar also mention that family is the main factor influence teenager to smoke.

The smoking project involves filling in a short questionnaire which have brief discussion about views of smoking among teenager (11-15 years old). This information and result will help us to be understand how teenagers develop their attitude and belief towards smoking.

Below is the web link for my online survey questionnaire.

Wish to get the feedback from you. Thank you very much.

Your Sincerely,
Channelle

Choices:
Do you think Cigarette advertising and promotion is the main factor to influence teenagers to smoke?

Channelssue,

I know that you are simply looking for help with a school project and your request was politely asked. In the past, other students have come on to this board looking for similar information.

I can't speak for everyone, and I'm not trying to discourage you in an effort to be rude, but in the interest of saving you some time, I suggest you look elsewhere for answers to these questions.

You'll soon find that the people on this board are not interested in filling out surveys to further assist in anti-smoking efforts, or anti-smoking perceptions which already have hundreds of billions of dollars in funding. Efforts to keep tobacco away from children are simply a very slippery slope to keep tobacco away from adults.

You have not broken any rule and I am not in any way an appointed authority on this website. I'm trying to politely tell you that you've wandered into the wrong part of town with your survey.

There are several anti-smoking groups that would be glad to assist you with such efforts. You should probably contact them.
