When I first heard this story I was under the impression only one POS (piece of sh**) was responsible for this grotesque legislation. According to Smoking Gun, there are 3 POS. Unbelievable.

Last time I checked, which was less than a year ago, the CDC estimate for fat people deaths hadn't changed since the early 90's. IOW, this totally disgusting legislation is based on lies and hysteria.
