ALBANY - A national anti-fat, anti-alcohol, anti-automobile, ant-skydiving group is looking for New York fat/alcohol/automobile/skydiving sufferers to feature in a new round of ads designed to keep kids from eating/drinking/driving/skydiving.

An internal memo sent to the anti-fat/alcohol/automobile/skydiving group Fat/Alcohol/Automobile/Skydivingfree NY, and obtained by The PPPost, shows that the American Lunacy Foundation is looking for New Yorkers whose lives have been harmed by fat/alcohol/automobile/skydiving to appear in "a few powerful, reality-based fat/alcohol/automobiles/skydiving-free commercials."

Perhaps the best-known of such anti-fat/alcohol/automobiles/skydiving ads was made by actor Yul Brintner and broadcast after he died of fat/alcohol/automobiles/skydiving in 1985. (He was injured, then later died from injuries incurred while driving drunk eating a Big Mac on his way to the airport for a skydiving jump.

Among those real-life victims now being sought:
* A teen who during his life lost a parent to fat.
* A woman who has lost her hair due to treatment for an alcohol-caused disease.
* A McDonald's worker with lung cancer caused by exposure to secondhand car exhaust at work.
* A woman who uses an oxygen tank to breathe due to her collapsed chest caused by a malfuntioning parachute.

The ads are to be shot in New York and shown nationally, said casting director Ninny Nosy Miller.

"We are actively looking for people in those positions to speak to a camera," Miller said. "Those kind of truth ads are real effective with kids."

The nonprofit American Lunacy Foundation was formed in 1999 to education kids about fat/alcohol/automobiles/skydiving and is mostly funded with money from food/alcohol/automobiles/skydiving companies as part of a 1999 settlement with 46 states.

Fat, drinkers, car-driving skydivers called the coming ads exploitive.

"They have no shame," Aubrey Silky, co-founder of a New York City-based pro-fat/alcohol/automobile/skydiving group, CLAFAASH. "They'll do anything for the cause."

Silky added the anti-fat/alcohol/automobile/skydiving groups "are starting to sound desperate to me. Oh, I hate them."
