On the right path!

Anton's Restaurant 100% Smoke Free on April 25th. A bold move toward healthier dining in St. Cloud comes to Anton's Restaurant this spring. Beginning Monday, April 25th, Anton's Restaurant will be the first St. Cloud restaurant and lounge to go completely smoke free.

We'll know it's the right path when all the other bars follow suit. Somehow I don't expect that to happen. It reminds me of when a bar in downtown San Francisco popular with the young after work crowd banned smoking and saw its patrons take a hike in droves. That experiment lasted one month. Still, if this bar makes a go of it, fine. I hope I don't see the owners whining about "leveling the playing field" later on.

Why, are they the ones who make your sandwiches for you?

Such a clever fella. I thought YOU made my sandwiches.

I'll tell you this- Anton's will be making more sandwiches for me now that they banned the carcinogen fumes.

Well good. Nobody wants to see them go out of business. Make sure you have them remove the candles (if any) from this establishment or you won't be able to state they've banned "carcinogen fumes."

And don't forget to hold your breath in their parking lot: "Carcinogen fumes."

Damn! Maybe they can make deliveries.

I hope they have a good business. It should still be the option of private business owners.
All of us, at one time, had that freedom to allow smoking or not. As I said, if it was a going thing in BARS, where no food is served, we would have done it years ago, it's not and NYS is falling fast.

Nico - I hope your sandwiches don't contain any processed or cooked (i.e. carcinogenic) meat, toasted (carcinogenic) bread, or canned (carcinogenic mercury) seafood, peanuts also contain aflotoxin another strong carcinogen. I guess that kind of limits your options a bit - eh?

Squeeker is the one making sandwiches for me (or at least enlightening me on how to assemble them).

asmoker123, where did you pull this thread up from- it's almost a year old?
Why are you pulling up old threads?

Thanks asmoker123, bringing up old posts buries all the new ones and the new ones can be missed very easily.

If there's an update for an old post, that's cool, but bringing them forward for a statement kills the newer posts. And the 'smokers' world has changed alot in just one year, we need to be current.

Thanks for understanding - and post away- on the newer threads Smile
