As I understand things,he is also a law prof at some university.

I would 'almost' be willing to have prohibition of smoking, just so that he would lose the 200 grand. Big Grin

I was just trying to recall if I've ever heard anyone but Banzwhatever make make a statement on behalf of ASH.

And how many people besides Amanda Stanford(?) of ASH UK make statements for that group?

And that Canadian physician's group (the name escapes me). I recall someone saying that's comprised of only 2 people.

Is it possible this entire movement could fit into one small bar?

Not really, do not forget the big players-ACS,AHA,and ALA.

There are a number of these groups and their leaders are not about to give up their nice salaries.

For instance, the ALA.

http://www.charitynavigator.org/index.cfm?bay=search.alpha<r=A
The ALA has a national hq and 26 state/regional chapters.

The head of the ALA earns $325,000/year.

The heads of 12 of the 26 chapters(46%) earn $100,000 or more per year.

The head of the ALA-IDA/NEV makes a whopping $460,000 per year(26% of total expenses).

The head of the CTFK earns a nice $241,700
per year.

There is alot of Gold in them thar hills.
