Here are some facts about what Wisconsin will have with less smoking and less exposure to SHS:

More smoking and more exposure to SHS causes less invasive cancer, less asthma, and better mental health for the citizens.

NC has a 21% higher smoking rate and more exposure to SHS than does NY.

NY has 11.4% more invasive cancer, 37% more asthma, and 43.4% more adults reporting poor mental health.
For the good of the people of Wisconsin NC is a better goal than is NY.

Any politician that pushes for a smoking ban should be run out of office!!!

The application of the “precautionary principle” in public health policy is the best thing. In a sound bite, it’s an easy sell: If something might be risky, ban it.
Smoking bans cause more adults to smoke at home and for children to be exposed to more SHS, for the sake of the children of Wisconsin smoking bans should be banned. Razz
