About 5 minutes ago, I decided to go have a smoke at about 6 30 am, another sleepless night. Being quite drowsy I lit up wrong side in, and didn't realize what the hell I was doing until this horrible taste in my mouth, oh my GOD. I had smoke d through about 3/4's of the filter!!!!

Obviously this was pretty bad for me, does anybody know how bad though? Any body ever done the same thing maybe after a few drinks?

I feel a bit of nausea, but thats it.

HA, Yuck, I've lit the end by mistake but never smoked that much filter fibers, you may want to switch brands- as you didn't seem to notice the difference in taste until way-too-late Eek

Thanks for that link Gilster...I would never have looked for it myself.

This is funny though...

"Smoking raises blood pressure and heart rate. This puts you at a much higher risk of having a heart attack and can cause strokes. In chronic smokers this can cause heart disease. "

The above is a quote from that link. I think if I didn't smoke I wouldn't have any blood pressure at all. Smokin'

Smallbird, I went checking for the make-up of the filter and bumped into that site.

It was funny reading it - from how to open a pack of cigarettes all the way to the proper way to put it out...it was so Home and Garden TV, as in how to change a light bulb. Smokin'

So does a chili-cheeseburger!! In the old days, watching Peggy Lee or Marilyn Monroe did the same thing.

Us old farts need the extra help getting started in the morning!!

Decaf coffee is heresy.

OK, I've managed to light the wrong end of a cigarette before, but NEVER actually smoked it. Just the lighting of it caused such a nasty smell there was no way to not know something wasn't right.

I can't believe you actually smoked it........hehehehehe Eek

That was my first thought as most smokers just aren't dense enough to not notice when they've accidentally lit the wrong end..... Razz
